Looking to indulge in Google Social Search?
You’ll need:
- Google account
- Google profile
- and enter Experimental Lab
From then on when you head to Google.com (as long as you’re logged-in), you’ll see the experimental look. Search and in addition to see your normal Google results, you’ll see what your “friends” have said containing that search term. Your “friends” are your connections in the social networks you specified in your Google Profile. This is -not- to say that you have to specify all your “friends”, Google finds them for you.
Here’s a video showing you this fantastic functionality.
If you’re on Facebook, Fan us at Facebook.LunaWeb.com for more practical social information and check out the Social Expedition podcasts.
Hope this has been helpful. Thanks for stopping by!
