To nurture and grow the entrepreneurial community in Memphis, community leaders established LaunchMemphis. Throughout the year, LaunchMemphis will host a series of events to encourage the local entrepreneurial spirit, as well as introduce new technology business startups to the Memphis economy.

One event, for which LunaWeb is involved as an partner “Engineer,” is StartUp Weekend, to be held May 30-June 1. This event is an “intense 54 hour event bringing together brilliant tech minds (developers, designers, marketers, ect.) together to create a company (or as many as the community wants) from concept to launch!”

LunaWeb will be in attendance during the entire weekend to take photos, shoot video, stream live video, blog and Twitter about the event. (Find us on Twitter: @LaunchMemphis.)
